TOURNEY BOO RULES 1v1(Swiss or any game format) Only allowed one boo per player per tourney. 2nd mistake will be an automatic DQ. 2v2 (Swiss or any game format) One boo allowed per team per tourney. 2nd boo on that team will be an automatic DQ. 3v3 ( any game format) One boo per team. 2nd is a DQ. **************************** If a boo is made, the person to the left of the person making the boo has the option of 1 or 2 skips No skips are to be made without the TD saying to do so! ***************************** **THERE ARE NO FIXABLE BOOS** ** NO BOOS IN FINALS** NO FIXABLE, NO ALONE ON 8 OR 9, NO BOOS ALLOWED, IT WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC DQ! Timer Rules 1v1 ( any format) A player is allowed 5 min's for any mia’s, brb's, freeze ups or anything that slows up a game. 2v2, 3v3 ( any format) A team is allowed 5 min's for any mia’s, brb’s freeze ups or if one person has been booted or to get a sub (in 2v2's only), ANYTHING that stops the flow of the game. After 5 min is up that team will be DQ’ed. ** Also, in 2v2 tourneys, if your partner is mia's, they will be timed for 5 minutes and you may pick a sub to play in his/her place. The sub must be at the table and ready to sit when the 5 min is up. Those players still participating in the tourney, can not sub. It must be someone who is out of the tourney or someone new to the lobby. If your team advances in the tourney, you would need to finish up using the sub **Please Note!** If you are constantly slow, freezing up the hosting TD may ask that you reboot and the timer rule will apply. The hosting TD will have final say on this as they have final say on anything that goes on in their tourney! Basic Tournament Rules Rules for Just Havin Fun are in place not to restrict but to maintain order so that all members may have fun! If you have any questions please contact an Admin. *************** Kibbies will remain off during the entire game unless the hosting TD says they need to be left on. When pairings are given in the lobby, the first players in the pairings are responsible for making the tables. The person first or his/her partner may make the table BUT they can not have the pick of the seats. The first person in the pairing always gets their pick of seats. If the first person is mia, all players will stand until they have returned or a DQ given due to timing out. No longer does the first the pairing have first choice of subs. It's first come, first serve. Slow play is not cool and is no fun for the other members! A slow play warning may be given and a 2nd slow play warning will result in a DQ. It should not take more then 15 min to play a round. With the exceptions of timers. TD’s will be giving warnings where needed for slow play and DQ’s if necessary. Remember the hosting TD’s do have the final say! Hosting TD must be invited before the tourney starts and will report all wins and losses. Table talk is NOT PERMITTED! “Table talk” is anything that reveals the content of what is in your hand while that hand is still in play. If table talk does occur, the hosting TD will give a warning and DQ if necessary. We do not encourage personal chat in messenger or in voice chat WHILE PLAYING. If it comes out that one is cheating in that manner they will be automatically dqed. Members who live in the same household are not allowed to enter a partner tourney or sub for one another in any tourney games. If Case's pairs those members together or in the case of a partner tourney If they join auto and become partners, they may continue to play and be partners. ** REMEMBER THE HOSTING TD HAVE FINAL SAY IN HOW THEIR TOURNEY RUNS. EACH TD WILL RUN THEIR TOURNEY A BIT DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TDS WHILE FOLLOWING THE RULES. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS PLEASE TAKE IT TO THAT HOSTING TD IN MESSENGER OR AT AN EMPTY TABLE. NEVER EVER FRONT A TD OUT IN LOBBY OR AT THE TOURNEY TABLE WITH OTHER PEOPLE PRESENT. All members/staff are expected to treat everyone with respect. Please keep cursing to a minimum. Just be respectful to all so our members may have fun. Abusive players will be warned and further action will be taken if the problem persists.
